Shanghai E-business Service Platform born promotion of retailing
IT and e-commerce which was listed in national and Shanghai key
projects in Tenth-five Year Plan. It was directly supported and
promoted by Shanghai Economic Committee.
This platform shall significantly change retailing IT way from construction
by self to application just in platform. High level, mature application,
low cost and low risk will bring much benefit to retailers. The application
in this platform can reach distribution, sales, supplier chain, procurement,
CRM, XML/EDI, BI etc. The tech architecture is HDUCM, that is HEADING
Information Management based on Intershop UCM(Unified Commerce Management)
which is on J2EE.
Starting off of Shanghai E-business Service Platform indicates
the 3rd flight of Shanghai commerce with IT, thus updates Shanghai
retailing economy.

On Sep.28, Shanghai E-business Service Platform Press Conference
was held. Chen Haigang, vice director of Shanghai Economic Committee,
official deputies from Shanghai Information Committee, Shanghai
Science Bureau, and local Commerce Bureau attended. Meanwhile, User
deputies of KEDICS, Lianhua, Xujiahui Department, and medias such
as People Daily, XinhuaNet, Xinmin Evening News, Shanghai Television,
Radio Shanghai supported on site.
